Breech Baby Brooks

We went to our 37 week appointment today and found out that the baby is still breech and tucked in my pelvis.  Since it is so cozy there, the doctor said that doing an external version would not be doable.  So our little baby will have it's birthday on Monday, November 28th at 7:30 a.m. via c-section!  This wasn't the birth plan we had anticipated, but as long as the baby and I are healthy, that is all that matters to us.

November 28th also marks a special day for us, not only will we become parents, but it is the day that Nathan and I have been together for 10 years!  This is going to be the best day ever!

Prego Pictures

At 32 weeks I had my pregnancy photos taken.  Our friend Michael Lopez was our photographer!  This was his first maternity photo session, and I think he did well!

36 Weeks!

Anytime now and our little one can come make it's appearance into the world!  

Shower #3

Shower #3 was hosted by my Auntie Susie.  This was a small group of family and family friends who I consider part of my family.  I had a lot of fun being able to catch up on everyone's lives and getting advice from all of them and sharing funny stories about children.  The funniest part of the day was when Uma guessed the exact size of my tummy!  I've never seen anyone guess that right on the money!  Thank you so, so much!  I love you all and can't wait to share our little baby with you!

Shower #2

My second shower was hosted by Cisa and AmyLyn!  It was a beautifu,l fun day filled with LOTS of family, friends and food!  What I love the most about this side of my family, is that there is always laughter/happiness in the air.  I may not always understand everything that is being said, but at least I know that everyone is having a good time!  I was overwhelmed with so many gifts, I slowly lost my audience as I opened! Ha ha :o) I had such a great time!  Thank you all!  xoxoxoxo

32 Weeks!

Baby Shower #1

 


My first baby shower was absolutely amazing!  My sister-in-law Kristen and cousin Marcie did an unbelievable job with me jungle themed shower.  You would have thought Martha Stewart came and decorated and created the games/activities that were held!  It was so great to spend the day with close friends and family.  I, actually the baby, got so stinking spoiled already!  I can't believe all the amazing gifts we received.  We are so lucky to have such great friends and family!  Thank you to everyone who  came!  We love you all!
